The day of the treatment
On the day of the treatment, the attention will be fully focused on you and we will do everything we can to make sure that the “big day” goes as smoothly as possible. In addition to the treatment, we can also address any other related aspects. If you need to arrange transport or stay overnight, we can take care of it yourself. We are happy to do what we can to make sure your treatment day is as enjoyable as possible.
THE FIRST PHASE
The extraction of the grafts
PREPARATION BEFORE TREATMENT
Before starting the treatment process, we will take pictures for the patient record. Then, the donor area is isolated with duct tape and shaved. The best results are obtained by shaving the entire head, but for aesthetic reasons, this is rarely done in women unless specifically requested.
WITHDRAWAL OF THE GRAFT
After the donor area is shaved, a superficial anesthetic is applied, so you won’t feel anything during the procedure. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, the technician will begin extracting the grafts. Customers can ask for a break whenever they need it. Once the grafts have been extracted, customers will be our guests for a small lunch break.
THE SECOND PHASE
The graft transplant
ANESTHETIC APPLICATION IN THE RECIPIENT AREA
After the lunch break, new photos are taken and a disinfectant cream is applied to the donor area. The doctor again discusses and confirms with the client the desired receptor area before marking it and applying the anesthetic.
WATCH THE GRAFT LIVE
Once the anesthetic has taken effect, the doctor begins to drill the small holes. We find it important to consult with clients at this stage and give them the opportunity to look at the process in the mirror. After drilling the holes, the entire scalp is washed. The grafts are implanted by two technicians or a doctor and a technician. Two people work together to implant the grafts, unless time constraints or the receptor area itself allows.
THE THIRD PHASE
Evaluation and consultation
Once all the grafts have been inserted, new photos will be taken for the client folder. You will then be given instructions for aftercare – information on which medications to use and how to wash your hair. Neither treatment nor medications affect the ability to drive, the client can go home after the procedure. We will email you all the photographs if you wish.
The skin will recover within a few days of the procedure. We will also give you some tips and advice to ensure optimal recovery and the final result. If you have any doubts about the progress of your recovery or if you suffer from side effects, you can contact the specialists of our clinic at any time.

The results of an HST are permanent. The transplanted hair follicles continue to produce hair for the rest of their life. It is the most effective treatment to make hair denser and give more volume. The grafts extracted are very small to ensure a high density and natural looking implant. The results are not immediately visible, but they take some time to develop.
